Alla Prima, an Italian phrase meaning “at first attempt,” is a painting technique that involves working with wet paint, working from general to specific, completing a piece in one sitting. This workshop will allow students to have guidance setting up an interesting still life composition and completing a painting in one evening. Supplies provided, including canvas panels and all oil painting materials. (Bring your own paints and brushes if you prefer.
